We all know this is going to be a busy summer at Arsenal with a whole host of issues needing to be resolved and there is going to be plenty of departures.

All the headlines right now are concerned with the future of Arsene Wenger and it looks like he’s set to sign a new two-year deal before overseeing a huge squad overhaul.

Many players are about to enter the final year of their contract but obviously the main focus has been on Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Recent reports suggest we’re about to offer the duo whopping £280,000-a-week contracts but it remains to be seen whether they will commit to the club after we missed out on the top four.

So the future’s of Sanchez and Ozil remain in serious doubt but the Telegraph name six other players who could be heading for the exit door along with our star duo.

The newspaper names David Ospina, Kieran Gibbs, Joel Campbell, Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson and Jack Wilshere as the players expected to leave over the coming weeks.

Ospina was our ‘cup keeper’ this year and started in the FA Cup final but that hasn’t been enough to convince him to stay and a move to Turkey is on the cards.

Gibbs is about to enter the final year of his deal and with Sead Kolasinac set to arrive from Schalke, the 27-year-old is expected to leave in search of regular football.

Campbell, Debuchy and Jenkinson have been on the fringes of the squad in recent years and enjoyed time out on loan so the trio should all secure permanent moves away from the club this summer.

Wilshere is perhaps the most intriguing name on the list as the midfielder has just 12 months left on his deal and is once again recovering from a fractured leg.

Jack was enjoying a season long loan at Bournemouth but after making 29 Premier League appearances, he suffered another serious injury which could spell the end to his Arsenal career.

So those are the six players that the Telegraph think could leave along with Sanchez and Ozil but they could also have named Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wojciech Szczesny and Lucas Perez as those three are also about to enter the final year of their contracts.

I’d love to see all three stay but it looks like Szczesny and Perez are certain to leave while Oxlade-Chamberlain is being strongly linked with a number of other Premier League clubs.

It’s certainly going to be a hectic summer in north London with as many as 11 players leaving so Wenger better be ready to get the chequebook out!
