Video: Everton 2-5 Arsenal: Gunners run riot against Toffees
Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League after coming from behind to beat Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park this afternoon.
We started well and could have been at least 2-0 up before the predictable happened as Everton went up the other end and opened the scoring with their first effort.
Xhaka was at fault once again as he lost possession on the edge of our area, Mertesacker stood off Rooney and the former Man Utd man curled home superbly.
However, we continued to dominate and deservedly levelled things up shortly before half time as Monreal volleyed home after Xhaka’s long range effort was saved by the busy Pickford.
We took the lead shortly after the break and it was a superb counter-attacking move involving our front three which resulted in Ozil heading home from a Sanchez delivery.
Gueye was then send off for Everton and we made our man advantage count as Lacazette scored his fifth of the season with a neat finish from an Ozil pass.
It was 4-1 in the 90th minute as Wilshere came off the bench to set-up Ramsey who slotted home at the near post before an error from Cech gifted Everton a second in the 93rd minute.
There was still time for Arsenal to get another as Sanchez found the bottom corner to secure a 5-2 which moves us level on points with Chelsea.
