Arsene Wenger signed-off with a win as we secured a hard fought 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town this afternoon thanks to a first half strike from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

These are my ratings:

Ospina  7.5/10 | Good save to deny Ince an equaliser before making an excellent stop in injury time to secure the three points.

Bellerin  6/10 | Was not really a threat going forward as he was pinned back at times. Struggled defensively, particularly in the first half.

Mustafi  6/10 | Was given plenty of problems by Huddersfield striker Mounie but managed to hold it together.

Holding  6.5/10 | Solid enough and made a couple of important blocks in the second half.

Kolasinac  6/10 | Offered an option going forward but final ball wasn’t great. Sloppy in possession at times.

Xhaka  6/10 | Not his most influential game as we struggled to control things in the middle of the park.

Ramsey  7/10 | Assisted Auba for the goal and wore the armband with pride. Worked hard as always. Hopefully this isn’t the last time we see him in an Arsenal shirt!

Iwobi  5/10 | A frustrating game for Alex as he was poor in possession and couldn’t really get in to the game.

Mkhitaryan  6/10 | Not really his type of game as it was a bit scrappy at times. Involved in the build-up to the goal though.

Aubameyang  7/10 | Scored another poachers goal for the opener making it 10 goals in 12 league starts. He’ll be a huge asset next season.

Lacazette  6/10 | Missed a great chance to double our advantage during the closing stages of the game but did well enough against a physical Huddersfield defence.

Subs:

Monreal  5/10 | Almost let Mooy in to equalise but we got away with it.

Welbeck   5/10 | Wasted a golden chance to make it 2-0.

Maitland-Niles  5/10 | No real impact in his 15 minute cameo. Looking forward to seeing him progress next season.

So Wenger signed off with a win and we can finally put this disappointing season behind us. Thoughts turn to who will replace Arsene and hopefully the board will make a quick appointment….
