VIDEO: Higuain Mobbed By Napoli Fans At Rome Airport Ahead Of £32m Move
Long-term Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain is now on the verge of joining Napoli in a £32m deal after arriving in Italy to complete his move on Wednesday afternoon.
The video below shows the striker being mobbed by hundreds of Napoli fans as he arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino airport earlier today before he headed off to undergo his medical examinations and sign a five-year deal worth a reported £140,000-a-week.
Here’s the video:
So another prime target has been snapped up and now it looks like all our hopes lay with Luis Suarez. It’s certainly a very dangerous game Arsene Wenger appears to be playing and I just hope he knows that he’s doing.
Key could be what Madrid plan to do with the £32m they’ve just received for Higuain. Will they now bid for Suarez, or are they saving up for Bale? Lets hope its the later as our task of signing Suarez would be twice as difficult if the Spaniards enter the chase and we’d risk missing out on our two top targets this summer.
Has Wenger got a contingency plan in mind if he misses out on Suarez? Perhaps, let’s just hope that contingency plan wasn’t Higuain!
