Ozil: “I Love This Team & This Club”
Arsenal moved clear at the top of the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Cardiff City on Saturday.
While Aaron Ramsey rightly grabbed the headlines after scoring a well-taken brace against his boyhood club, Mesut Ozil also deserves a mention after setting up the first two goals with superb passes.
The German midfielder quietly went about his business and did what he does best; sets up goals. There are small sections of fans who still feel he’s not doing enough but there’s just no pleasing some people.
Ozil was on Twitter once again after the game and it seems he’s enjoying himself in north London, as he declared his love for the team and club:
3:0 away. what a game. I love this team and this Club. #premierleague #arsenalfc.
— Mesut Özil (@MesutOzil1088) November 30, 2013
It’s never easy moving to a new club and country, and the settling in period can take some longer than others, but it seems Ozil is loving life in England and with Arsenal flying high in the league, he’s clearly enjoying his football too.
