TWEETS: Wilshere, Ozil, Poldki & The Ox All Buzz On Twitter After Villa Win
Arsenal secured another vital three points last night with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park.
We were far from our best and barely got out of second gear in the second half, but were able to grind out another win thanks to first half efforts from Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud.
As seems to be customary these days – particularly after a victory – many of the players went on Twitter after the game with the likes of Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski all reacting to our latest win.
Understandably much of the talk was about us regaining top spot in the league, but several players also welcomed back The Ox from his lengthy injury while Ozil also congratulated former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo on winning the Ballon d’Or.
Just arrived home after a very satisfying away win! Had to dig deep! Thanks to all the fans that managed to make the trip! Welcome back Ox!

Well done lads, had to hold on at the end but did well to see it out. Great to see Chambo make his comeback too. Night everyone!

Nice to get back on the pitch tonight, especially with a good 3 points. Had to dig deep second half, but we managed to see the game out #AFC
