TEAM NEWS: Wenger Gives Latest On Ramsey, Arteta, Rosicky & Bendtner
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is currently holding his pre-match press conference ahead of Friday night’s FA Cup clash with Coventry.
Among a host of other topics, Wenger has given us the latest team news including updates on Nicklas Bendtner, Tomas Rosicky, Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta.
Unfortunately the three midfielders will once again miss out due to on-going injuries. Rosicky is still feeling the effects of his broken nose, Ramsey hasn’t fully recovered from his thigh strain while Arteta is nursing a calf problem.
None of the injuries are considered long-term and Rambo and Arteta should be back in training on Monday, but understandably the club aren’t taking any chances with them and they won’t feature against Coventry.
However, there is some good news with the boss confirming that Bendtner will be back in the squad and I’d expect he’ll start to give Olivier Giroud a rest.
