TWEETS: Ozil, Sanogo, Ramsey + Podolski React To Win Over Everton
We produced an excellent performance to eventually beat Everton 4-1 at the Emirates this afternoon to book our place in the last four of the FA Cup.
Goals from Mesut Ozil, Mikel Arteta (pen) and a late double from Olivier Giroud were enough to see off the Toffees, with Romelu Lukaku getting the visitors goal just before half.
It was certainly a much-imporved display from last weeks defeat to Stoke and we’ll now be eagerly awaiting Sunday’s draw to see who we’ll play in the semi’s at Wembley.
After the game some of the players took to Twitter and Facebook to react to the win. Mesut Ozil, who was superb all game, Aaron Ramsey, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski had their say on Twitter while young striker Yaya Sanogo took to his Facebook page to thank to fans and praise goal-scorer Giroud.
4:1 – that was important. Thanks all for the support.
