Champions League Draw: Arsenal Draw Borussia Dortmund Once Again
The draw for the group stages of the Champions League took place this evening and we’e been handed a tough task once again.
We were pitted in Group D along with Borussia Dortmund for the third time in four years. We’ll also face a tricky trip to Turkey again, this time to play Galatasaray, while the final team we’ll play is Anderlecht.
Just to confirm, here’s our group:
- Arsenal
- Borussia Dortmund
- Galatasaray
- Anderlecht
Obviously it’s not the worst group we could have got, but it’s certainly not the easiest by any means.
Dortmund may not be the force they were once but they are still a very good side and we’ve got a couple of extremely difficult away games coming up to Germany and Turkey.
As always, we need to aim for three home wins and then if we beat Anderlecht away we’re virtually guaranteed qualification.
