TWEETS: Fans Tear Into Wenger & Arsenal After Awful Display v Hull
Well that was awful, wasn’t it?
Arsenal started brightly and deservedly took the lead through Alexis Sanchez but we were hopeless after Hull equalised and even worse after the took the lead just after the break.
That was one of the worst second half performances I’ve seen from us in a long while and it’s even more worrying considering we were behind for the entire 45 minutes until Welbeck equalised in the 91st minute.
Only then did the players seem to wake up and push for another goal. There was a clear lack of motivation in some players out there today and it seems many fans are pointing the finger squarely at manager Arsene Wenger, board and the players.
Here are some of the best tweets after today’s poor result:
We aren't going anywhere with Arsene anymore. He should've gone after the cup. A great manager whose time has passed. Time for new ideas

Struggling to care currently. Arsene should have gone after the FA Cup win. End on a deserved high note. Abundantly clear it's not right.

Blame wage bills, blame refs, blame players, blame internationals but at some point people need to say blame rests at the managers door

Dreadful performance by a rudder-less, injury-wrecked team. Zero chance of winning League, minimal chance of finishing in Top4. #afc

"When Arsene doesn't have a plan we just keep quiet". What great leadership from the Arsenal Board. Too busy counting the cash no doubt.

Maybe we sneak into the top 4 by the end of the season. But who cares? This team isn't going anywhere. Plenty of talent but something amiss

Out of the title race by the end of Oct after increasing the worlds highest priced tickets. At least "demand far outweighs supply", eh Ivan?

The last time we started a season like this we had Gervinho & Benayoun on the wings & Santos at left-back. Embarrassing stuff. @arsenal

Thank fuck for Alexis. So many players need to take a long hard look at themselves as that was simply not good enough. Again.

That second half was an absolute bag of shit.
