PHOTO: Arsenal Star Offers Fitness Update + Hints At Playing Return
Theo Walcott has offered a fitness update on Instagram and dropped a huge hint he’s set to return to first team action this weekend against Burnley.
Walcott has been working his way back to full fitness after rupturing a ligament in his knee against Tottenham over 10 months ago.
He returned to full training earlier this month and stepped up his recovery with a run-out for the Under-21’s two weeks ago.
The 25-year-old was an unused substitute against Sunderland last weekend but it looks like he could finally be back in action for the first team when we entertain Burnley on Saturday.
Theo has taken to Instagram to upload a photo of himself with a message saying that training has gone well this week and he’s looking forward to the weekend – a sure hint that he’s expecting to be involved against Burnley.
Walcott’s return will be a huge boost as we’ve certainly missed his pace and direct running over the last 10 months. I personally can not wait to see him linking up with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck and it looks like we might just get a glimpse this weekend.
