Club Ready To Sell As Arsenal Plot Move For Polish Midfielder

By on December 9, 2014

According to reports, Arsenal are keen on signing Polish midfielder Krystian Bielik and could land him in January as his currently club, Legia Warsaw, are ready to cash in.

Bielik has emerged as one of the most highly-rated youngsters in Poland after breaking in to the Legia first team this season and he’s being tipped to have a big future in the game.

It appears his potential has alerted Arsenal as the Daily Mail are reporting this morning that Arsene Wenger is showing a keen interest in signing the 6ft 2in defensive midfielder.

He’s still under contract until 2017 but the newspaper suggests that Legia are ready to sell and are open to offers for the talented 16-year-old.

It’s not known what sort of money they would want but I can’t imagine the Polish market is like England where teenagers are hugely over-priced, so we could pick him up for a couple of million tops.

Obviously Bielik isn’t the world class holding midfielder Arsenal fans are hoping the club will sign this winter, but he might be ‘one for the future’.

If we do push forward with a deal for the youngster, I’d still expect Wenger to be on the look-out for a more established name in January.
