Petr Cech To Complete Arsenal Move Next Week
Arsenal fans may have to wait a little longer than hoped for the official announcement on Petr Cech as Sky Sports News sources claim that the deal won’t be confirmed until the middle of next week as the keeper has still not undergone a medical.
The Cech-to-Arsenal stories have been intensifying in recent days as Sky Sports claimed over the weekend that we had agreed personal terms with the Czech international.
The news outlet then reported yesterday that we had finally agreed a £10.9m fee with Chelsea, so fans were anticipating an announcement on the 33-year-old’s imminent arrival before Friday.
However, it seems we’ve got to be a little more patient as Sky Sports reporter Amy Lewis claimed on Twitter this afternoon that Cech is still to undergo a medical and the deal isn’t expected to go through until the middle of next week.
Sources: Petr Cech hasn't had his medical with Arsenal yet. It's expected to be completed by the middle of next week.

It always amazes me how a transfer can be rushed through in the final hours of deadline day but when it’s the middle of summer, the deals seem to take forever. Either way, as long as we can get this transfer over the line well ahead of pre-season, then I’ll be happy.
The medical should be a formality. I’ve read some comments from those supposedly ‘ITK’ on Twitter that it will be done on Friday, but we’ll have to wait and see if that turns out to be the case.
Cech is going to be a superb addition for the club and no matter what the haters say, he’s going to improve our team dramatically.
