31-Goal Striker Drops Huge Hint Over Arsenal Move

By on July 12, 2015

Alexander Lacazette send Arsenal fans into a spin on Saturday after dropping a huge hint on Twitter he’s keen on moving to the Emirates this summer.

The Lyon hitman has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months with reports in Italy this weekend suggesting we’re closing in on a potential £28m deal.

The 24-year-old has been in talks with Lyon about a new contract but the negotiations have been stalling and it’s led to speculation in France that Arsene Wenger is ready to take advantage of the situation.

When one Arsenal fan Tweeted this news, Lacazette decided to ‘favourite’ the tweet, and obviously many Arsenal fans have taken this is a huge hint that Lacazette is keen on joining the club this summer.

Who knows why the striker chose to favourite this tweet, he could just be having some fun, but given the fact this was the first time he’d ever favourited another tweet, it was a pretty interesting move.

Behind Benzema, Lacazette would be my preferred choice of striker this summer and if we can snap him up for anything near £28m then it would be a great deal.

He announced himself as one of the most prolific strikers in Europe after scoring 31 goals in all competitions for Lyon last season and with pace, power and an obvious eye for goal, I think he’d be a superb addition.

Let’s see how things develop from here but after his latest antics, I’m sure there will be a few Gooners keeping a close eye on Lacazette’s Twitter activity over the next few days and weeks.

Here’s a screenshot of him favouriting the tweet:
