An own goal from Fabio Coloccini ensured we left St James’ Park with a well deserved 1-0 win over Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
We dominated the entire game after Mitrovic’s early dismissal and found the break through in the 52nd minute when Oxlade-Chamberlain’s shot was deflected in via Coloccini.
If it weren’t for some questionable finishing we’d have ran out comfortable winners but we take home the three points, so that’s the most important thing.
