Photos: Walcott & Per share selfies with ‘hat-trick hero’ Giroud
Theo Walcott and Per Mertesacker have posted selfies on Twitter of them posing with man-of-the-moment Olivier Giroud.
The French international put in a superb performance last night and grabbed his first ever hat-trick for Arsenal to secure a 3-0 victory over Olympiacos and book our place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
After the game, Walcott uploaded a selfie to his Twitter account of him posing with his strike partner in the dressing room and hailed Giroud as the ‘hat trick hero’.
Skipper Mertesacker also shared a selfie with his French team mate while Mesut Ozil serenaded the striker an online version of his ‘na na naaaaa Girouuuuud’ song.
Lots of love being shown for Oli, and all fully justified as he was excellent last night.
