Champions League Last 16 Draw: Arsenal to face Barcelona again
Arsenal will once again face Barcelona in the first round knockout stages of the Champions League.
We booked our place in the last 16 after a sensational 3-0 victory over Olympiakos last week but it was only enough to secure second place meaning we would face one of the group winners.
And in a draw as predictable as they come, we’ve once again been pitted against Spanish giants Barcelona.
It’s getting a bit boring now but finishing second in the group meant we were always likely to face one of the big boys. At least the squad has plenty of experience playing Barcelona so hopefully we can finally get one over them.
Although beating them over two legs is going to be an incredibly difficult task.
We’ll play the first leg at the Emirates on either the 16/17th or 23/24th February before playing the return leg in Spain on the 8/9th or 15/16th March.
