[Tweet] Ozil hails ‘perfect’ display after Arsenal beat Watford
Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter to hail an excellent performance after Arsenal thrashed Watford 4-0 at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
The German international was at his best once again as he bossed the game throughout but surprisingly he didn’t register a goal or an assist as we crusied to victory.
First half goals from Alexis Sanchez and Alex Iwobi put us in control at the break before Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott wrapped things up in the second half.
The win ensures we keep the pressure on the top two and Ozil says it was the ‘perfect’ start to our run-in, with many feeling we need to win all of our remaining games in order to stand a chance of winning the title.
Goal scorer Bellerin and Joel Campbell – who grabbed an excellent assist for the Walcott goal – have also been on Twitter reacting to the win.
