[Tweets] Xhaka, Koscielny & more celebrate online after late win
Several of the Arsenal players have been celebrating on social media after we secured a last gasp 1-0 victory over Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
We were well below our best for long periods of the game as Burnley proved to be extremely difficult to break down and we struggled to create clear cut chances.
Alexis Sanchez went close to finding a breakthrough when his volley clipped the post in the second half while Theo Walcott also went close with a curling effort.
It looked like we’d have to settle for a frustrating draw but there was late, late drama as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s effort at the far post deflected in off the hand of Laurent Koscielny to secure a last gasp win.
Some of the players have now taken to social media websites to celebrate the victory with Mustafi, Monreal, Iwobi, Perez and The Ox all posting messages on Twitter.
Xhaka, Koscielny, Ozil and Bellerin have also taken to Instagram to share photos and messages as we celebrate moving up to third in the table and to within two points of leaders Man City.
