[Tweets] Giroud & Ozil praise Arsenal’s ‘mentality’ on Twitter
Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud are among the Arsenal players who’ve been celebrating our 4-1 win over Sunderland on social media this evening.
Alexis Sanchez helped himself to a brace while Olivier Giroud proved to be the match-winner after coming off the bench to score twice in quick succession to secure a huge three points.
The victory saw us briefly climb to the top of the Premier League table but we dropped to second after Manchester City thrashed West Brom 4-0 at the Hawthorns later in the day.
Ozil has now posted a message to Twitter praising the teams mentality for scoring three goals in just 10 minutes while Giroud also expressed his delight at getting himself back among the goals in front of the ‘amazing’ Arsenal fans.
Hector Bellerin and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also posted messages on Twitter while Shkodran Mustafi took to his Instagram account to express his relief at collecting a much-needed three points today.
Here is what the players have been saying:
