By on December 3, 2016

Arsenal have been dealt a huge double boost with Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho set to miss our huge clash with Manchester City later this month through suspension.

Aguero was sent off in stoppage time during City’s 3-1 defeat to Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium for a horror challenge on David Luiz and will now be handed a four-match ban due already being sent off this season.

Fernandinho was then sent off after being caught up in resulting scuffle with the City midfielder seen grabbing Cesc Fabregas by the throat and pushing him over an advertising hoarding.

It means both players will now City’s trip to Leicester, their home game with Watford AND the visit of Arsenal on December 18th, while Aguero will also sit out the trip to Hull the following week.

This will come as a major boost to Arsenal as Aguero is arguably the best striker in the Premier League so he’ll be a huge miss for City while Fernandinho has also been a key part of Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven this season.
