Arsenal drawn to face Preston in the 3rd round of the FA Cup
Arsenal have been drawn to face Preston North End in the third round of the FA Cup after the draw took place this evening.
All the big boys entered the draw for this stage of the competition and we’ve been drawn away from home and will take on Championship side Preston North End at Deepdale.
After winning the cup in both 2014 and 2015, we crashed out at the quarter final stages last season so let’s hope we can put together another strong run in the competition this season.
First we’ll have to navigate past Preston and it won’t be easy as they will be right up for it and I’m expecting a proper FA Cup game.
The match will be played over the weekend of January 6-9th, 2017.
Our main Premier League rivals all avoided each other with Man Utd at home to Reading, Chelsea taking on Notts County or Peterborough United, Liverpool entertaining Newport County, Tottenham facing Aston Villa and Manchester City away to West Ham.
