Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter to post a photo of himself arriving at London Colney this afternoon as he looks to get himself fit following illness.
Ozil has missed our last two Premier League games against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth after being bed-ridden by a nasty bout of flu.
However, the German international was back at the training ground today where he was due to be assessed by the club doctor following his illness.
Ozil took to Twitter to upload a photo of himself arriving at London Colney earlier this afternoon with a message saying ‘I’m back’ but he also admitted that he’s not yet 100%.
Arsene Wenger confirmed at his press conference this morning that Ozil won’t be involved in Arsenal’s FA Cup third round clash at Preston North End on Saturday but he should be fresh and ready to go for our visit to Swansea next weekend.
Check out what Mesut has been up to on Twitter:
