[Tweets] Arsenal players celebrate online after beating Preston
Some of the Arsenal players have been celebrating on social media after we came from behind to secure a late 2-1 win over Preston North End in the third round of the FA Cup last night.
Once again we started slowly and fell behind inside the opening 10 minutes when Callum Robinson put Preston in front following some comical defending from Gabriel.
The hosts squandered several chances to extend their lead and we made them pay after Aaron Ramsey equalised just after half-time before Olivier Giroud won it late on with a deflected effort from close range.
The 2-1 win at Deepdale ensures we’re in the hat for Monday night’s FA Cup fourth draw and some of the players have taken to Twitter after the game to celebrate our progress to the next round.
Shkodran Mustafi, Aaron Ramsey, Per Mertesacker, Lucas Perez, Alex Iwobi, Mohamed Elneny and match-winner Giroud have all posted messages and shared photos on Twitter to express their delight at booking our place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
