Arsenal have been handed a triple injury boost with Mohamed Elneny, David Ospina and Danny Welbeck all back in full training ahead of Saturday’s trip to West Brom.

Elneny has missed our last three matches in all competitions after suffering an ankle injury during our FA Cup win at Sutton United almost four weeks ago.

However, the Evening Standard claim the Egyptian international is back in full training and will be in contention to return to the squad this weekend.

Welbeck was due to start our Champions League last-16 tie with Bayern Munich last week before being forced to pull out shortly before kick off due to illness.

The striker subsequently missed our FA Cup win over Lincoln City last weekend but the 26-year-old is now fully fit and expected to return to the squad for the trip to the Hawthorns.

In a triple boost, injury expert Ben Dinnery says that Ospina is also back in full training after missing the Lincoln game with a minor knock which he’s believed to have picked up against Bayern.

However, it’s not all positive news as the Evening Standard say that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a doubt for this weekend’s game due to a hamstring problem.

The Ox limped off midway through the first half of our win over Lincoln with a tight hamstring and it looks like he’s now facing a race against time to be fit for West Brom.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been superb in a more central role so I’ll be disappointed if he does miss out but luckily Aaron Ramsey is back to full fitness while Elneny is also available again so we’ve got plenty of options in midfield.

If Welbeck is now 100% fit, I’d love to see him start up front on Saturday in place of Olivier Giroud as I think a front three of Danny, Sanchez and Walcott has huge potential.

We head in to the weekend action desperately needing to pick up three points at the Hawthorns as we’re now five points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool.

However, we have two games in hand and the Merseysiders face a tough trip to Manchester City on Sunday so it’s vital we close the gap with a win on Saturday.
