[Photos] Boost for Arsenal as trio return to training ahead of Red Star clash
Arsenal have received some welcome injury news with Aaron Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez and Laurent Koscielny all able to take part in training this afternoon.
Arsene Wenger and his coaching staff put the players through their final paces today ahead of tomorrow night’s Europa League trip to Red Star Belgrade and it looks as though the trio could be in contention.
Ramsey missed last Saturday’s defeat to Watford because of a tight hamstring while Sanchez wasn’t risked at Vicarage Road due to a muscle problem that he picked up while away with Chile.
Koscielny did start against Watford after overcoming a recent Achilles issue but the defender limped off during the closing stages sparking fears he’d aggravated the long-standing injury again.
However, all three players have been photographed taking part in training at London Colney today so it looks like they are in contention to make the trip to Serbia.
With a crucial game against Everton at Goodison Park coming up on Sunday, I’d be surprised if Wenger started all three against Red Star but we could certainly see Sanchez and Ramsey get some minutes under their belts.
