Referees named for Arsenal’s games with Burnley and Huddersfield
The match officials have been announced for Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League games against Burnley and Huddersfield Town.
We head to Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon for a tough fixture against Burnley and Lee Mason will be the man in charge of that match.
Arsenal then welcome Huddersfield to the Emirates next Wednesday and Graham Scott has been chosen as the referee to be in charge of that game.
Let’s hope there is far less controversy surrounding our next two Premier League matches as all the focus seems to have been on Mike Dean and his decisions following our win over Tottenham.
We were awarded a fortunate free-kick and then Shkodran Mustafi’s resulting goal was fractionally offside while Mauricio Pochettino has also been moaning about Granit Xhaka not being sent off.
You can’t deny we were on the right end of some important decisions on Saturday but let’s not forget we were harshly punished by some terrible calls against Man City earlier this month.
Let’s just hope Arsenal put in two top class performances and we shouldn’t need any lucky decisions from the referees to collect six points against Burnley and Huddersfield.
