Arsenal can tighten their grip in the top four with a win when we welcome Huddersfield to the Emirates this evening.

Sunday’s late win over Burnley saw us leapfrog Tottenham in to forth place and with our rivals losing at Leicester last night, we can move four points clear with a win tonight.

That would be a fantastic turn-around considering we were trailing them by four points heading in to the North London derby so it’s important we take advantage of this opportunity to put some daylight between us.

Huddersfield won’t be any pushovers though as they’ve already beaten Man Utd this season and should have taken something off City at the weekend – although both those games were on home soil.

Team news

Ozil returned to training yesterday after missing the Burnley game through illness but Wenger says a late decision will be made over his involvement.

Iwobi is a doubt with a dead leg that he suffered at the weekend but Welbeck and Wilshere are pushing for recalls.

Cazorla is our only major absentee and the midfielder revealed the heartbreaking news earlier that he’s been forced to undergo another operation on his Achilles.

As for Huddersfield, they’ll be without the suspended La Parra while Billing, Hefele and Stankovic are all still injured.

Preferred line-up

Arsene says he won’t rest any players ahead of Saturday’s clash with Man Utd which I think is the right call as this is a must-win game. However, I would like to see Mesut given more time to recover with Wilshere replacing him in attack.

Huddersfield are expected to line-up: Lossl, Smith, Jorgensen, Schindler, Malone, Ince, Williams, Hogg, Mooy, Mounie, Depoitre

Predicted Score

We have won our last eleven Premier League games at the Emirates Stadium and Huddersfield have been poor on the road so I’m confident tonight. As long as we stay patient, keep things tight at the back and take our chances then I can see a routine 2-0 win. Arsenal 2-0 Huddersfield
