[Tweets] “It’s over” – Arsenal shareholder urges Arsene Wenger to leave
Arsenal shareholder and celebrity fan Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to urge Arsene Wenger to walk away from the club before his legacy is ruined.
Our top four hopes suffered another setback after we produced a toothless performance to draw 0-0 with West Ham at the London Stadium last night.
It was our second consecutive away draw and means we’ve taken just two points from our last three games having lost to Manchester United at home earlier this month.
Many fans have been venting their frustration on social media and well-known journalist and TV presenter Morgan was one of those to take aim at Wenger.
Morgan is a life-long Arsenal fan and season ticket holder who also has shares in the club and he’s extremely vocal about Arsenal matters with the 52-year-old very-much be in the #WengerOut camp.
He’s once again shared his thoughts on Twitter with Morgan saying Wenger’s time is ‘over’ and urged the boss to do what’s best for Arsenal and walk away from the club to protect his legacy from being ruined any further.
Morgan also posted a Tweet summarising the state of Arsenal right now where he blasted Stan Kronke, Wenger, the players and some sections of the ‘deluded’ fan base.
It’s over, Arsene.
For God’s sake put the club before your ego & wallet – and go before your legacy is completely ruined.
This is painful to watch now. pic.twitter.com/0IQrh4M8Sv— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 13, 2017
Arsenal's current culture is this: Billionaire foreign owner who's never there & doesn't care.
Ageing manager pocketing vast salary for endless PL/Euro failure.
Passion-devoid players producing mediocre football.
Deluded fans brainwashed into thinking we're not already a joke. https://t.co/p2kNfjAFO1— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 14, 2017
He may be a controversial figure at times but it’s hard to argue with Morgan on this one…..
