Four of Arsenal’s opening fixtures in August and September have been rescheduled after being chosen for live broadcast by Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Unsurprisingly, our opening weekend clash with defending champions Manchester City at the Emirates has been selected by Sky Sports as the prime-time fixture and it will now be played on Sunday August 12th, kicking off at 4pm.
The following weekend, we travel to Stamford Bridge and our clash with Chelsea will also be broadcast live – this time on BT Sport – on Saturday 18th in the 5.30pm kick off slot.
The West Ham game at the Emirates will remain a Saturday 3pm kick off but our trip to Cardiff the following week has been selected by the TV companies and will be shown on Sky Sports at 1.30pm on Sunday September 2nd.
The final game rescheduled will be the visit of Everton to north London as that match will now be shown on Sky Sports on Sunday 23rd September, kicking off at 4pm.
The trip to Newcastle on September 15th and the visit of Watford to the Emirates on Saturday 29th will both remain 3pm kick-offs after being overlooked.
