Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Leicester: Partey, Xhaka & Ceballos all start
Arsenal are back in Premier League action when we take on Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
Mikel Arteta has rotated his team from the side that beat Rapid Vienna and it looks like the boss may be deploying a 4-3-3 formation tonight with a back four of Kieran Tierney, Gabriel, David Luiz and Hector Bellerin.
Thomas Partey makes his home debut and is joined in midfield by Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos – who’s passed fit after recovering from a bruised ankle. Bukayo Saka starts in attack along with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
I guess Arteta could be playing 3-5-2 so we’ll have to wait and see how the team lines-up but I like the look of the eleven he’s selected. We have options on the bench with the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Eddie Nketiah but Willian misses out with a calf issue.
Luckily for Arsenal, Jamie Vardy is only fit enough for a place on the bench but James Maddison starts for the visitors.
These are the line-ups for the game:
Arsenal
Leno, Bellerin, Gabriel, Luiz, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Ceballos, Saka, Aubameyang, Lacazette.
Subs: Runarsson, Maitland-Niles, Pepe, Mustafi, Elneny, Willock, Nketiah
Leicester
Schmeichel, Fofana, Evans, Fuchs, Castagne, Tielemans, Mendy, Justin, Praet, Maddison, Barnes
Subs: Ward, Morgan, Choudhury, Albrighton, Ünder, Iheanacho, Vardy.
