Plenty to Bet on Until Arsenal Play Again

Typical isn’t it!  Just as the Gunners find some form, it’s the international break. There’s plenty of international football to place bets but what else can wagers be made on? It’s not just sport that online bookmaker sites feature.

Sara Davies also scored 34 points for her second dance, after being given just 17 for her first. At 66/1, Davies could be an interesting bet. Placing some cash on the results of the show might just make it a bit more watchable. It’s like watching a Tottenham game when you have a bet on the opposition.

James Bond is all over the place, so why not have a bet on who will replace Daniel Craig?  James Norton and Tom Hardy are the current favourites according to The Standard. Perhaps Henry Carvell could go from being Superman to James Bond? Lashana Lynch is around 10/1 to be the first female James Bond. What would Alexander Fleming (creator of Bond) say about that?

The BBC Sports Personality of the Year is usually a close fought affair. Not so this year with US Open winner Emma Raducanu at 1/20 with some bookmakers. Look at all the markets available though. Adam Peaty is 6/4 to be in the top three. You won’t make a fortune on that but he’s an Olympic champion and getting tons of publicity as he’s on Strictly.

You can see therefore that there is lots to bet on over the coming weeks. If you want some good news, why not check out the next Premier League manager to leave their club. The odds on Mikel Arteta are now in double figures. The crisis is over and with Palace and Villa at home in the next two Premier League games, it’s looking a lot rosier.
