Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs West Ham
Arsenal can climb into the top four with a win over West Ham at the Emirates this evening.
Mikel Arteta has once again opted for Aaron Ramsdale in goal and he’ll be looking to build on his clean sheet at the weekend. Takehiro Tomiyasu starts once again at right-back while Ben White and Gabriel continue their partnership together in the middle of Arsenal’s defence.
Kieran Tierney keeps his place at left-back so Nuno Tavares is on the bench. Granit Xhaka starts his third game since returning from injury while Thomas Partey partners the Swiss international in the middle of the park. Albert Sambi Lokonga therefore has to settle for a place among the substitutes.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang isn’t involved after being stripped of the captaincy so Alexandre Lacazette leads the line up front for Arsenal this evening. Eddie Nketiah is on the bench if we need a change in attack.
Bukayo Saka starts once again on the right flank with Martin Odegaard keeping his place in the attacking midfield position following an excellent run of form recently.
Gabriel Martinelli keeps his place in the Arsenal attack so Emile Smith Rowe has to settle for a place among the subs. Therefore, Arteta has stuck with the same side that beat Southampton at the weekend.
These are the line-ups:
Arsenal
Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka, Lacazette
Subs: Okwonkwo, Smith Rowe, Maitland-Niles, Holding, Pépé, Tavares, Lokonga. Elneny, Nketiah.
West Ham
Fabianski, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Masuaku, Rice, Soucek, Fornals, Lanzini, Bowen, Antonio.
Subs: Areola, Yarmolenko, Vlasic, Noble, Benrahma, Kral, Okoflex, Alese.
