Arsenal predicted line-up against Fulham
Arsenal will be looking to keep their winning run going when they welcome newly-promoted Fulham to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening in the Premier League.
The Gunners have enjoyed a dream start to the campaign as they have won all of their first three games and are currently sitting at the top of the league table ahead of Man City.
On the other hand, Fulham have so far enjoyed a decent return to top-flight football as they are currently unbeaten in the first three league games, winning a solitary match and drawing the other two.
Arsenal have been dominant against Fulham over the past decade as they haven’t lost to the Cottagers since 2012. But, Marcos Silva’s side will be looking to turn their fortunes around this weekend.
Arsenal expected line-up against Fulham:
Mikel Arteta is expected to stick with the same eleven that has given him an impressive start to the campaign and therefore, he might not make any change to his winning combination.
Aaron Ramsdale will definitely keep hold of his place between the sticks. William Saliba has begun his life in the Premier League like a duck to water and scored his first goal for Arsenal in the last game against AFC Bournemouth. So, he should start once again in defence alongside Gabriel Magalhães.
Although Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are pushing to start after recovering from their respective injuries, Arteta is likely to continue with Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko as the fullbacks in this game.
Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will once again start in the engine room, while Martin Odegaard will commence in the attacking midfield position for Arsenal tomorrow.
Arsenal fans are yet to see their summer signing Fabio Vieira in action. He was on the bench against the Cherries last weekend after recovering from an ankle issue but didn’t feature in that game. However, following a full week of training, the 22-year-old should be fit enough to make his first appearance for the club in this game. Vieira is not expected to start so he’ll have to make do with a place on the bench and make his debut as a substitute. Emile Smith Rowe will also have to settle for a place among the subs.
Gabriel Martinelli will continue on the left-wing position and Bukayo Saka could be on the opposite flank once again, while in-form striker Gabriel Jesus should be leading the line for Arsenal against Fulham in front of the home crowd.
