Confirmed line-ups: Lens vs Arsenal – Partey returns as Trossard start for Gunners

Arsenal are back in Champions League action as we take on Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis this evening.

We won our opening Group B fixture with a comfortable 4-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium and Mikel Arteta will hope for a similar result tonight.

The boss has mixed things up with Takehiro Tomiyasu recalled to start at right-back. Ben White is given a well earned rest. William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes keep their places in the middle of Arsenal’s defence while Oleksandr Zinchenko retains his place at left-back. Therefore, Jacub Kiwior has to settle for a place on the bench.

David Raya keeps his spot in goal so Aaron Ramsdale is among the substitutes again. Declan Rice starts in the holding role while Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz also keep their places. That means Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe are on the bench.

Thomas Partey returns to the squad after recovering from a groin injury but he’s only named on the bench tonight. Bukayo Saka is passed fit to start despite picking up a knock at the weekend.

Gabriel Jesus keeps his place up front but Leandro Trossard is recalled to start on the left wing. Eddie Nketiah drops to the bench.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:
