Arsenal predicted line-up against Sheffield United
Arsenal are set to take on Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners will be coming into this game off the back of a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sevilla in the Champions League so, they are full of confidence at the moment.
The North London club are currently third in the Premier League table with 21 points from nine games and they are only two points behind the table topper Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal are still unbeaten in the league and it’s expected that they will be able to continue their unbeaten run this weekend as they are a huge favourite to defeat the struggling Sheffield United team.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side have only managed to accumulate one point from nine games and it is likely to be extremely difficult for them to find their first league victory of this term tomorrow.
Expected Arsenal line-up vs Sheffield United
David Raya is expected to keep hold of his place between the sticks for Arsenal so Aaron Ramsdale may have to make do with a place on the bench once again.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes should be at the heart of the Gunners’ backline, while Benjamin White could continue in the right-back position. So, Jakub Kiwior will be among the substitutes once again. Jurrien Timber isn’t in contention to feature as his season is all but over due to a serious knee issue.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is set to return in the left-back position after starting on the bench in midweek so Takehiro Tomiyasu will return to the bench in this encounter.
Thomas Partey has sustained a fresh muscular issue and is set to remain sidelined for a few weeks so he isn’t available tomorrow. Declan Rice should start in the defensive midfield position, while Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz could commence in the advanced midfield role. So, Jorginho will have to return to the bench alongside Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe.
Gabriel Jesus sustained an injury in midweek and is set to be sidelined for the upcoming few weeks so he isn’t in contention to feature in this encounter. Therefore, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah should be the front three for Arsenal in this fixture. In that case, Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson will have to settle for a place on the bench.
