Can Mikel Arteta Guide Gunners to More Silverware this Season?
Arsenal kicked off the 2023-24 campaign by beating Manchester City in the FA Community Shield. They are out of the Carabao Cup but still in Europe. With the FA Cup starting in January, can Mikel Arteta guide the Gunners to more silverware this season?
Arsenal Heading in the Right Direction Under Arteta
Arsenal’s campaign got off to the perfect start with a victory in the Community Shield. The Londoners have bigger fish to fry this term, but winning at Wembley Stadium paved the way for a strong start in the Premier League.
Since taking the reigns at the Emirates Stadium, Arteta has won two Community Shields and an FA Cup. Arsenal also went close in the Premier League last season, pushing Manchester City all the way. However, the champions retained the crown with a strong end to the campaign.
UEFA Champions League football is back at the Emirates after the second-place Premier League finish last term. Arteta’s men have been solid in the competition and are looking to go far.

Arsenal have also made a strong start in the Premier League. They went ten games unbeaten, winning seven and drawing three. The first league defeat of the campaign came at Newcastle United in early November.
After last season’s heroics and a strong start to this campaign, Arsenal are among the favourites in all competitions this year. Football betting is massive these days, and with the growth of Betting software, you can back Arsenal in every game. The development of betting software means that Sportsbooks are now more sophisticated than ever. This is good news for football fans, as it means there is 24/7 coverage of a huge range of matches worldwide, and placing a bet is easier than ever.
Man City remain the favourites to win the Premier League this season. In fact, Pep Guardiola’s men, who won the treble last term, are fancied to win every tournament. However, Arsenal matched the Citizens for the majority of the 2022-23 EPL season, and the Gunners could be in the mix again.

Can the Gunners Make it 15?
Arsenal were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by West Ham United, but the FA Cup begins in January. The London giants have a rich history in the competition, lifting the trophy a record 14 times.
As an Arsenal player, Arteta won the FA Cup twice, captaining Arsenal to glory in the 3-2 victory over Hull City in May 2014. Six years later as the boss, Arteta guided the Gunners to another FA Cup, with Arsenal seeing off Chelsea in an empty Wembley Stadium.
Arteta’s troops will join the competition at the third-round stage at the beginning of 2024, along with all Premier League and EFL Championship clubs. Can Arsenal win a 15th FA Cup this season?
These are exciting times to be an Arsenal fan. Since moving to the Emirates, the Gunners faithful have not had much to shout about, but Arteta has certainly brought the feel-good factor back to the club, and the north London outfit are heading in the right direction under the Spaniard.
Winning trophies is no mean feat, but can Arsenal add to the Community Shield with more silverware in 2024?
