Confirmed line-ups: PSV vs Arsenal – Saliba and Gabriel start
Arsenal conclude their Champions League group stage campaign away to PSV Eindhoven at the Philips Stadion this evening.
We are already safely through to the knockout stages as Group B winners, so Mikel Arteta was expected to take this opportunity to rotate his team and rest all of his key players. However, the boss has decided to risk William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes with both first choice centre-backs starting the game.
Aaron Ramsdale does come in to replace David Raya while Cedric Soares replaces Ben White at right-back. Jacub Kiwior comes in for Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back so youngster Reuell Walters is on the bench.
Arteta has rested Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard so Mohamed Elneny and Jorginho are recalled to start in midfield for Arsenal. Kai Havertz keeps his place with Emile Smith Rowe among the substitutes.
It’s all change in attack as Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus drop to the bench. Gabriel Martinelli hasn’t made the trip to Holland due to illness. Reiss Nelson, Leandro Trossard and Eddie Nkietiah all come in to start.
These are the teams for the game:
Arsenal
Ramsdale; Cedric, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Elneny, Jorginho, Havertz; Nelson, Nketiah, Trossard.
