Arsenal predicted line-up against Liverpool
Arsenal are set to face off against title rival Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Gunners are currently at the top of the table with 39 points from 17 games, but their lead at the top is very slender as they are currently only one point ahead of second-placed Liverpool.
So, the North London club will be keen on winning this game to extend the gap up top with Liverpool. However, Arsenal haven’t had a great record at Anfield in recent years as they haven’t won there in the Premier League for more than a decade.
Therefore, the North London club will have to display a flawless performance to come away with all three points from this encounter.
Expected Arsenal line-up vs West Ham
David Raya is set to keep hold of his place in goal for the Gunners tomorrow so Aaron Ramsdale will have to settle for a place on the beach once again.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are guaranteed to continue at the heart of Arsenal’s defence. They will have to be at their very best to help his side come away with all three points from this game. So, Jakub Kiwior will be among the substitutes tomorrow.
Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko are expected to be the fullbacks for Mikel Arteta’s side in this encounter. Jurrien Timber and Takehiro Tomiyasu remain sidelined due to their respective injuries.
Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira are also unavailable for selection in this game owing to their problems. So, Declan Rice will continue in the deep-lying playmaker position for Arsenal tomorrow.
Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz could be in the box-to-box role, in that case, Emile Smith Rowe will have to settle for a place on the beach. Mohamed Elneny isn’t in contention to feature due to a hamstring issue, while Jorginho is in doubt ahead of this fixture.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli should be patrolling on the flanks against Liverpool. The onus will be on them to exploit the spaces – which would be left behind by the Merseyside club’s attacking fullbacks.
Gabriel Jesus should lead the line for Arsenal in this fixture and in that case, Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson will have to settle for a place on the bench in this crunch clash.
