Confirmed line-ups: Tottenham vs Arsenal: Partey starts for Gunners
Arsenal can extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a win over Tottenham at the New Tottenham Stadium this afternoon.
We head into this pivotal day sitting just one point ahead of Manchester City – who have a game in hand. City play away to Nottingham Forest later today so Arsenal have the opportunity to move four points clear and put the pressure on the defending champions by beating Spurs.
Mikel Arteta has named an unchanged line-up from the side that thrashed Chelsea 5-0 on Tuesday night. David Raya starts in goal once again while Ben White, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes line-up in the back four. Takehiro Tomiyasu keeps his place at left-back for Arsenal so Jacub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko have to settle for places on the bench.
Thomas Partey retains his place in the holding role after impressing in midweek. Jorginho remains on the bench with Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard starting along with Partey in midfield.
Bukayo Saka starts once again on the right flank for Arsenal while Kai Havertz leads the line up front after his impressive brace against Chelsea last time out.
Leandro Trossard keeps his place on the left wing so the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus remain on the bench for Arsenal today.
These are the line-ups:
