Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs PSG – Calafiori and Trossard start for Gunners
Arsenal take on Paris Saint-Germain in our second Champions League game of the new season.
Having drawn the opener away to Atalanta on match day one, Mikel Arteta will be keen to pick up our first win of the league phase this evening and he’s named an unchanged line-up from the side that beat Leicester City last time out.
David Raya starts in goal once again for Arsenal while Jurrien Timber keeps his place at right-back in the continued absence of Ben White – who’s still recovering from a knock. Riccardo Calafiori was given an injury scare as it appeared he hurt his knee against Leicester City at the weekend, however, thankfully he’s fit to start at left-back against PSG.
Thomas Partey starts once again in the holding role with Declan Rice also keeping his place in midfield. Kai Havertz is in the starting eleven once again and the German is supported by Leandro Trossard in the absence of injured skipper Martin Odegaard.
Bukayo Saka lines-up on the right flank and he’ll be one of Arsenal’s main danger men going forward. Gabriel Martinelli appears to be rediscovering his best form and the Brazilian keeps his place on the left side of attack tonight.
Mikel Merino is on the bench after recovering from a shoulder injury and could make his debut tonight.
These are the teams for the game:
