Arsenal are in Carabao Cup action tonight as we take on Preston North End at Deepdale.

Mikel Arteta has rotated his squad for the game as he looks to give some of his key players a rest while also handing some much-needed minutes to his fringe players.

Youngster Tommy Setford makes his debut in goal with David Raya rested. Jurrien Timber has recovered from the cramp that forced him off against Liverpool at the weekend as he starts at right-back this evening.

William Saliba returns from suspension and starts in defence for Arsenal. Jacub Kiwior partners the Frenchman in the middle of the back four with Oleksandr Zinchenko coming in to start at left-back. Gabriel Magalhaes misses out after picking up a knock at the weekend while Ben White is rested.

Jorginho is recalled to start in midfield with Declan Rice dropping to the bench. Mikel Merino keeps his place to start against Preston with Ethan Nwaneri given another chance to impress. Thomas Partey and Leandro Trossard are named among the substitutes.

Bukayo Saka is given a well earned breather as Raheem Sterling is recalled on the right wing. Gabriel Martinelli keeps his place on the left with Gabriel Jesus replacing Kai Havertz up front.

Here are the line-ups:
