Confirmed line-ups: Chelsea vs Arsenal – Odegaard and Rice start for Gunners
Arsenal are under huge pressure to get their season back on track when we take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
We head into the game off the back of a three-game winless run in the Premier League so Mikel Arteta needs to stop the rot and bring away a positive result from West London today.
The boss has made some changes from the side that lost 1-0 away to Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night but David Raya keeps goal once again for Arsenal.
Ben White also starts at right-back with Jurrien Timber keeping his place on the left side of the back four. William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes continue their partnership in the middle of defence.
Declan Rice missed the trip to Italy in midweek due to a foot injury but he’s back in the squad today and is deemed fit to start against Chelsea. Arsenal are handed a second major boost as Martin Odegaard is back in the starting eleven with Thomas Partey completing the midfield trio.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli start on the wings while Kai Havertz is passed fit to start up front despite being forced off with a nast cut to his head in midweek.
Here are the teams:
