Arsenal interested in signing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz
Arsenal have reportedly registered their interest in signing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, as per transfer journalist Kenan Yildiz.
The Gunners struggled with their goal-scoring issues just before the November international break but following that, they looked at their best once again and scored 13 goals in three consecutive games in all competitions.
However, in the last two games, Arsenal found it difficult to create opportunities from open play. They managed to score twice and defeat Man Utd thanks to their excellent set-piece prowess last week but only came away with one point versus Fulham last time out.
As a result, Mikel Arteta’s side failed to close the gap with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table. They are currently third in the league with 29 points from 15 games, sitting six points behind the Reds – who have a game in hand.
Apart from Bukayo Saka, Arsenal’s attacking players have been inconsistent thus far this season. So, they are seemingly planning to reinforce this position next year.
Yildiz to Arsenal
Writing on X, Konur states that Arsenal are keen on signing Yildiz to bolster the attack but purchasing him won’t be straightforward as Manchester United, Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund are also in this race with Liverpool showing the most concrete interest in securing his service.
Juventus have no intention of letting the forward leave the club for cheap as he still has four and a half years left in his current contract and have slapped a whopping £66m price tag on his head.
Konur wrote:
“Liverpool are one of the main clubs interested in an ambitious potential transfer deal for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, who could cost around €80million. Arsenal, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund are also all keen on Yildiz.”
Yildiz has showcased glimpses of his qualities in Serie A in recent times and it is apparent that he possesses the potential to become a top-class forward. The youngster has even been compared with the Bianconeri legend Alessandro Del Piero.
The 19-year-old is a talented player and can play in the flanks as well as in the centre-forward position. He is comfortable on both feet.
