Arsenal Renew Interest in Serie A Star Dusan Vlahovic

Arsenal have once again turned their attention to Serie A striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports from IlBianconero via Tuttosport.

The Gunners suffered an early exit in the FA Cup after losing to 10-man Manchester United on penalties. Adding to their woes, Gabriel Jesus picked up what looked like a serious injury, further compounding Arsenal’s growing list of injury concerns this season.

The loss to Manchester United exposed Arsenal’s need for attacking reinforcements, as the team failed to convert clear-cut chances. Striker Kai Havertz endured a difficult outing, including missing his penalty, which ultimately sent United through to the next round.

 Arsenal’s Longstanding Interest in Vlahovic

Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to the Emirates since 2022, during his time at Fiorentina, before his eventual switch to Juventus in the winter transfer window. Arsenal’s renewed interest highlights their need for firepower upfront.

According to iLBianconera, Gabriel Jesus’ injury setback could push Arsenal into making a move for the 24-year-old Serbian striker. Valued at £50 million( transfermarkt) Vlahovic offers a different goal threat and could bring a fresh dynamic to Arsenal’s attack.

With Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, and Leandro Trossard struggling to find consistent form this season, the addition of Vlahovic could provide much-needed depth and attacking options for Mikel Arteta’s side.

With Juventus reportedly eyeing a move for French and PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani, the Serbian striker could be considering a move away from Italy. A switch to the Emirates would provide Vlahovic the opportunity to lead Arsenal’s attack and compete for major trophies with a club aiming for glory.

Arsenal have also been linked to a number of attackers to strengthen their front line, including Nico Williams, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, Kingsley Coman, and Benjamin Sesko, among others.
