Arsenal simply have to win to keep our title hopes alive as we take on Wolves at Molineux Stadium this afternoon.

We head into the weekend fixtures sitting six points behind leaders Liverpool – who also have a game in hand – after drawing 2-2 with Aston Villa last weekend. After blowing a two-goal lead against the Villains, we have no more room for error so have to bring all three points back to North London today.

Unfortunately, skipper Martin Odegaard is ruled out of the game so Ethan Nwaneri is handed a huge opportunity to fill his boots in the attacking midfield role. Declan Rice and Thomas Partey also start in midfield for Arsenal with Jorginho on the bench but Mikel Merino is ruled out.

David Raya starts between the sticks once again while Gabriel Magalhaes will be looking to help Arsenal secure a clean sheet in defence. In a huge boost, William Saliba is passed fit to return so Jurrien Timber starts at right-back. Myles Lewis-Skelly is also passed fit to return at left-back.

Kai Havertz leads the line up front for Arsenal with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard offering support in attack. Raheem Sterling is an option from the bench.

These are the teams:

Arsenal

Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Partey, Rice, Nwaneri, Trossard, Martinelli, Havertz.
