Arsenal and Chelsea target Spanish winger Yeremay Hernandez

By on April 8, 2025

Arsenal have shown strong interest in signing Deportivo La Coruna winger Yeremay Hernandez, according to reports from TuttoJuve.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the most exciting young wingers in Spanish football outside the top clubs.

He came through various youth academies before settling at Deportivo La Coruna, where he has grown into a key player.

Yeremay has impressed with his speed, creativity, and ability to score goals in a very demanding league.

The young forward has a release clause of £30 million, and his current deal runs until June 2030.

Deportivo are open to keeping that fee, which means signing him will not be easy or cheap.

Arsenal are keen to strengthen their attack as they search for options to support the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli on the wings.

Mikel Arteta’s side are looking to reduce their reliance on Saka by bringing in another wide forward.

Yeremay fits the profile they are after—young, talented, and capable of playing in multiple attacking positions.

The winger can play on either flank or even in more central roles when needed.

His ability to take on defenders, create chances, and get into goal-scoring positions has drawn widespread praise.

He has also made two appearances for the Spanish Under-21 team, showing his potential at international level.

Premier League Rivals Also in the Race

Arsenal are not the only Premier League side keeping tabs on the young Spaniard.

Chelsea are also interested in Yeremay, with reports claiming the club have been monitoring him closely.

Enzo Maresca wants more consistency from his wide players and sees Yeremay as a good addition to the squad.

Chelsea have built a reputation for signing young talent, and Yeremay ticks several boxes for them.

With the summer window fast approaching, both Arsenal and Chelsea could go head-to-head for the winger’s signature.

Juventus are also said to admire the player, adding to the list of interested clubs.

Yeremay Hernandez’s rise has not gone unnoticed, and he is set to be one of the most sought-after names this summer.

It now remains to be seen which club will move first and meet Deportivo’s asking price.
