Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Paris Saint-Germain – Trossard & Saka start in attack
It’s a huge night at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal take on Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of our Champions League semi-final.
We booked our place in the last four with a stunning 5-1 aggregate victory over Real Madrid so Arsenal should hold no fear heading into the semi’s against the French champions.
Mikel Arteta has made some changes from the side that drew with Crystal Palace last time out but David Raya is among those to keep their place as he starts between the sticks once again.
Jurrien Timber starts at right-back with Myles Lewis-Skelly keeping his place at left-back. Jacub Kiwior continues alongside William Saliba in the absence of Gabriel Magalhaes.
Thomas Partey is suspended so Declan Rice is partnered by Mikel Merino in midfield. The Spaniard has led the line superbly well in recent weeks but drops back into midfield tonight.
Leandro Trossard is the man to start up front and he should be in confident mood in front of goal having scored three times in his last two games.
Martin Odegaard captains the Arsenal squad once again and we’ll need him on top form if we’re to get a result this evening. Bukayo Saka is the dangerman out with with Gabriel Martinelli on the opposite flank.
Here are the line-ups:
Arsenal
Raya Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Merino, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Trossard.
