Arsene Wenger To Launch Move For €21m-Rated ‘New Hazard’ – Report
According to reports today, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is lining-up a move for €21m-rated Nabil Fekir this summer after receiving positive scouting reports on the Lyon attacker.
Fekir has been enjoying an excellent season in France this year with his 12 goals and 12 assists in 29 games helping Hubert Fournier’s side to the top of the Ligue 1 table.
The 21-year-old has been attracting interest from around Europe and it seems he’s now caught the eye of Arsenal with the Mirror claiming that the boss is ready to launch a swoop this summer.
Arsene has supposedly received glowing reports from French-based scout Gilles Grimandi which have persuaded him to make a move for the talented youngster at the end of the season.
Lyon apparently want around €21m (£15m) for the player – who has been dubbed in the media as the ‘New Eden Hazard’ due to their similar style of play.
Fekir is certainly a huge talent and despite being born in Algeria, he’s opted to play for France and has two full caps to his name already, so he looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
He predominantly plays as a left-sided attacker but can also play in a more central position, so he’d give Arsene some options in attack if he does end up moving to the Emirates this summer.
