Video: Arsenal’s Chuba Akpom Scores Fine Goal For Hull In COC Win
Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom continued his excellent start at Hull City after scoring during their Capital One Cup clash last night.
Akpom joined the Tigers on loan earlier this month and marked his debut with a goal against Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old then came off the bench during their Capital One Cup clash with Accrington last night to open the scoring two minutes into extra-time after the game had ended 0-0 after ninety minutes.
Akpom showed composure to turn his man before cooly slotting home a left-footed finish into the bottom corner to make it 2 goals in his first 2 games.
The game eventually ended 2-2 after extra-time before Hull won the shoot-out 4-3 to progress to the next round, with Akpom among those to convert his penalty.
Hopefully the youngster can continue to impress at the KC Stadium and come back to Arsenal next summer ready to push for a first team place.
